Our Mission

Francolina is an Educational Institute founded to preserve and educate others regarding the French presence in North and South Carolina. Numerous aspects of Southern society have been analyzed to understand the connection between France and the states of North and South Carolina

Our Methodology

Francolina operates as a website which publishes small articles on various topics. These topics can range from history to linguistics and even cuisine, and all relate to the French impact on the culture of the Carolinas. Francolina also cooperates with local museums to spread awareness.

Our Operations

Francolina researches alongside several local institutions such as the Fort Mill History Museum and the French Consulate in Charlotte, North Carolina to access primary source material. Francolina also works to raise money for local historical preservation institutions.
